InfiniteEARTH is a company led by a group of highly committed individuals from backgrounds as diverse as forestry, conservation, anthropology, developmental economics and consumer marketing. This unlikely band of like-minded collaborators has come together to create a unique company around an extraordinary yet simple premise: "Carbon Neutral" and "Sustainable" are simply not enough.
"Neutral" and "Sustainable" are never words we would use to describe our level of commitment to the future we envision for our children. So why are these words so frequently offered up as acceptable benchmarks of success in the race to save the planet? The future generations of this planet deserve more.
One evening at the World Famous Camp Leakey Research Center, by the dim light of a solar powered light bulb, a group of us asked ourselves a few basic questions:
The answers were resoundingly clear. We all wanted a lot more for our children than a "Sustainable" future. Accomplishing that was going to require a lot more than a "Neutral" effort from us. What we all envisioned for our children and the future generations of this planet was an abundant future, not just a sustainable one.
Remarkable things can be achieved when people and companies commit themselves to the extraordinary. With this as our guiding principle, we have developed solutions to Global Climate Change that go far Beyond Carbon Neutral and Beyond Sustainability.
In addition to offsetting TWICE your carbon footprint, InfiniteEARTH Credits provide direct, tangible and quantifiable solutions that deliver net improvements to global warming, biodiversity preservation, endangered wildlife conservation, and economic viability of indigenous communities. Our project was designed to exceed the stringent standards developed by the Climate, Community and Bio-Diversity Alliance and is independently certified and audited annually.
We call this process:

Orangutan Foundation International
Orangutan Foundation International (OFI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wild orangutans and their rainforest habitat in Indonesia and Malaysia. Founded in 1986 by scientist and conservationist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas and her former doctoral student, Dr. Gary Shapiro, OFI focuses on three objectives: research, conservation, and education. OFI also disseminates information about the orangutan to galvanize policymakers and the public toward an appreciation of orangutans and their highly endangered status. For more than three decades Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas has studied and worked closely with the orangutans of Indonesian Borneo in their natural habitat, and is today the world’s foremost authority on the orangutan.
OFI is a member of the Orangutan Conservation Forum, a consortium of groups working to counter the primary threats to orangutan survival throughout Indonesia.
In late 1998, the Orangutan Foundation International (OFI) completed the construction of its new Orangutan Care Center and Quarantine (OCC&Q) facility in the village of Pasir Panjang, a suburb of the city of Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan or Central Indonesian Borneo. The OCC&Q is presently staffed by a full-time Indonesian veterinarian with a local medical doctor always on call. In addition, volunteer medical support has come from all over the world to save orangutans and has included nurses, nurse practitioner, medical doctors (pediatrician, cardiologist, anesthesiologist, surgeon), vets, and vet students. The OCC&Q now cares for over 300 orangutans.
